La Relève

La Relève is about challenge, about commitment and about duty. It’s about public service renewal. It aims to create a public service workplace where people are valued, recognized, given opportunities for self-development, and treated in accordance with the core values of the Public Service. Sponsored by Jocelyne Bourgon Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet this major government initiative touched all sectors and departments of the federal government.

The team at Digital Interactive worked with a high profile team from the Privy Council Office in developing an interactive CD that not only presented the findings and direction of the La Relève task force, but also presented the initiatives and undertakings of all of the federal departments involved in the project.

The project undertook to scan and convert material from numerous sources and in multiple formats, from both paper and electronic copy, in both English and French. It produced a cohesive compendium of the activities of La Relève. This fully searchable information source contained over 20,000 pages of material, along with video footage of key addresses and was all accessible through a simple and intuitive interface.
